Traffic levels can be frequently busy mostly with local use, especially around peak times, so when navigating care is required! There are a number of quality hostelries along the route to provide refreshment, which along with the raw beauty and verdant wildlife make the journey worthwhile - as well as being able to say 'I cycled to the start/end of Hadrian's Wall'.
