This is based on information available circa Spring 2026 & by applying a little bit of common sensed logic, especially regarding start and finish points.
An iconic start from in front of Edinburgh Castle, then take the road south at South Bridges would make sense. However, this is where logic and reality might differ? Whereas, the finish in front of Carlisle Castle does make sense, as Castle Way would offer a wide thoroughfare for a great sprint finish?
